CEI offers a wafer thinning (or wafer back grinding) process to reduce the wafer thickness prior to assembly. All wafer back grinding is performed in a class 5K clean room by using fully automated mechanical grinding equipment following a precise set of parameters to ensure proper back grinding. The wafer size handling capability is 4 to 8 inches in diameter. |
